Ok Christians, it’s time to think natural in order to win our battle. I know the fight is hard and you have done everything you know how to do spiritually to defeat the enemy. Now it’s time to do a few more things so you can come out of your battle in your right mind!! Lol.
I want you to always remember that the God is very balanced. Don’t have your head in heaven so much until you can’t deal with earth! These four things will help you deal with your battle while you are staying here on earth…:)
1. Get Sleep – If you are fighting a battle, going to church, going to work, taking care of home, going to school, taking care of the children, doing favors for other….WHEN DO YOU HAVE TIME TO GET A GOOD NIGHT’S REST?? I believe there are many Christians who are fighting themselves straight to grave! Sometimes you need to stop praying and go to sleep. How can you fight when you can’t even keep your eyes open? The goal of the enemy is to WEAR YOU OUT! And he will…if you let him.
2. Eat – Many times battles can make you depressed. If this is the case, you may have to stop and get a balanced meal. Depression and anxiety can take your appetite away. Eating will give you strength for the next day’s battle. Eat plenty of vegetables, fruit, fruit juices water and yes – SOME MEAT AND POTATOES! Lol.
3. Go out – When in the heat of battle, do not always stay at home. Go out and still enjoy life. So many times Christians are on a spiritual warpath…they are warring at home, at church, at work, in the bathroom!! Give war a break and go enjoy a movie! Go out to eat! Take a walk! Do something, but get out of the house. If you don’t you will create a tense atmosphere in your home and before you know it no one will want to be there.
4. Talk – There are times when you should talk about your battles with someone so they can help you out. Stress will build up when you don’t talk about your problems. If you do not have anyone to talk to, talk to the Holy Spirit. He is always listening.
When Jesus said his burden was light, he really did mean that. We make our burdens heavier than they are supposed to be. He never intended for us to wake up warring and go to sleep warring every single day! Even Jesus went away to rest. If he rested, shouldn’t we? Let’s use wisdom in our battles everyone.
I hope this series helped you with your battles. Yes, I’m going through one right now. But in all these things I am more than a conqueror!!
Love ya!
